1. Who we are
RiverFlows BV, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. Questions? Email us at info@riverflowsbv.com.
2. What data we collect and why
We only collect data that you actively provide to us yourself through the forms on this site:
- Contact and enquiry forms (intro call, Operations Scan): your name, company name, email address, optionally your phone number (an optional field) and the content of your message. We use this data solely to respond to your message or request.
- Newsletter sign-up (at the bottom of knowledge base articles): your email address. We add you to our mailing list and email you as soon as a new edition comes out. You can unsubscribe at any time with a single email to info@riverflowsbv.com — we will then remove you from the list straight away.
- The source of your visit: when you submit a form, we automatically include which page brought you to the site and — if present — the campaign code (utm parameters) and the referring website. Your browser only remembers this during your visit (sessionStorage, not a cookie). We use it solely to know through which channel requests come in, not to track you.
After submitting a form you automatically receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email at the address you entered yourself. We never ask for more data than necessary and we do not use your data for any purpose other than the one you left it for. The legal basis is the performance of your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Who we share data with
We never sell your data and only share it with parties that are needed to make the site and the forms work:
- Resend (resend.com) processes the form submissions: it delivers them to our mailbox info@riverflowsbv.com and sends you the automatic acknowledgement of receipt on our behalf.
- Vercel hosts this website. We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymised, aggregated visitor statistics — without cookies and without individual visitors being identifiable.
We host this site's fonts ourselves; no external party is involved and no data is shared for that.
4. Cookies
This site does not place any tracking or marketing cookies and therefore does not show a cookie banner.
5. How long we keep data
We keep messages and requests in our mailbox for as long as necessary for the contact and any collaboration. We keep your email address for the newsletter until you unsubscribe. At your request we will delete your data sooner.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or have your data deleted, and the right to object to the processing or to withdraw your consent. To do so, email info@riverflowsbv.com; we respond within one business day. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
7. Changes
We may update this privacy statement if the site or our way of working changes. The current version is always available on this page.
